H.R. 1162: No Hero Left Untreated Act

H.R. 1162: No Hero Left Untreated Act

Why this bill is important:
This bill will create a one-year pilot program to provide access to magnetic EEG/EKG-guided resonance therapy to treat veterans suffering from any disorders, injuries, or pain.

Why this bill is bad:
This VA pilot program does not go far enough in helping provide better care for our veterans. The pilot program calls for treatment for more than 50 veterans at two locations. Out of the hundreds of thousands of veterans, we should have a wider pilot than just 50 veterans. And the pilot should go beyond just two locations. The data collected in this pilot will be too small of a sample size.

What’s the latest?
